George Way Drum Co. no. 402

From Ronn Dunnett comes the newly resurrected George H. Way drum company. These are modern drums with the RIGHT vintage vibe! This one is the 5" Studio model. Vintage style 4 ply shell with 2 ply reinforing rings, 8 Tuxedo lugs, super simple, yet very effective throwoff and adjustable butt. the finish is a sparkle lacquer, not a wrap! The hoop ears are even modeled after the old GW hoops! How's it sound? Well, I usually prefer snares that are at least 6" deep, but this one is amazing- sensitive, great attack and plenty of body!
